All of the films, except Inside Out, in the top 5 grossing of 2015 were sequels, this goes to show that sequels are the most popular and successful films and are most likely to be the most successful in the Box Office. The majority of the films were released during the UK and US school holidays, which goes to show release date contributes hugely to the success at the Box Office. All of the top 5 grossing films are big blockbuster movies with very high budgets and 3 out of 5 of them are Sci Fi films and 4 out of 5 are in the action film genre. Also all of the top 5 films were made by the 'Big Six' and there aren't any independent films near the top of the list.
